Discover techniques that work with your hectic schedule, restlessness, and perfectionism

Mindfulness is likely a term you’ve read over and over again when looking for help.

You might have already tried it and found it to be frustrating, boring, or you simply forget to do it. Sitting still, staying focused, and remembering to practice seem impossible when your mind is always on the move.

I help people like you succeed in building a genuine mindfulness routine that helps ease stress, anxiety, and wandering thoughts.

Why Mindfulness?

Mindfulness isn’t just meditations, sitting still or clearing your mind, — it's about practicing being present for a moment. This habit and skill of pausing empowers us to respond to our life rather than react.

Research has shown that mindfulness practice can:

  • Foster better management of ADHD symptoms, like staying on task and organization

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, depression

  • Alleviate impulsivity and procrastination

  • Help recover from sensory overload and emotional meltdowns

  • Enhance creativity and emotional regulation

  • Improve sleep and relaxation

What Makes This Course Different?

You’ll learn techniques that work for restless energy, explore short, flexible exercises that won’t feel overwhelming, and be able to fit them into your typical day.

Together, we’ll address the challenges faced by adults with ADHD and AuDHD, such as:

  • Staying consistent with practice when your brain resists structure

  • Finding techniques that work for your specific sensory and emotional needs

  • Overcoming perfectionism and frustration

  • Engaging when repetitive practices feel dull and sitting still feels impossible

  • Staying motivated when mindfulness benefits take time

This course is built to meet you where you are, discovering where you may already be mindful and build more on your strengths. You’ll learn how to practice mindfulness in ways that are practical, engaging, and tailored to your neurodivergent mind.

  • We’ll meet weekly for 6-weeks on Zoom for a 90-minute group session that includes education, guided mindfulness practices, and time for questions. After each class, you’ll receive a summary page with key takeaways and exercises. To deepen your practice, you’ll also be paired with a mindfulness partner whom you’ll meet with between classes to practice together.

This group will be focused on psychoeducation which means that we will not be getting into personal history or doing group therapy. Instead, the emphasis will be on learning concepts and developing skills together.

  • This 6-week mindfulness training is designed to help you build a personalized practice, by the end you will be able to:

    • Stay present and grounded, even in challenging situations

    • Approach procrastination and impulsivity with effective tools and kindness

    • Determine your sensory preferences to enhance grounding skill.

    • Recognize times to apply mindfulness techniques, habitually and in crucial moments.

    • Connect with a welcoming community for support and shared growth.

    • Manage sensory overload and emotional reactivity

    • Build a consistent mindfulness practice that works for you

    • Embrace yourself as a neurodiverse individual

  • This group is ideal for adults who want to build a strong foundation in mindfulness, whether you’re completely new to it or have struggled to make it work in the past. You don’t need an ADHD diagnosis to join—if you experience challenges like distractibility, emotional reactivity, or procrastination, this course is for you.

Participants should be ready to commit to weekly Zoom sessions, additional guided practices, and working with a mindfulness partner to enhance their learning. If you’re looking for a practical and supportive approach to mindfulness that fits your life, this course can help you build skills that last.

  • This group is held entirely online via Zoom, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own private space. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device to participate in the weekly sessions.

  • The six-week program costs $360 CAD ($60/week), including Zoom sessions, guided practices, and partner support.
